Hello Everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I have added some more resources around Japanese Internment. This is nicely tied into your reading of Nisei Daughter in Ms. Magee's class. I have also attached a practice OPCVL and information pertaining to our research paper. We began discussing the paper the week before the closure.
OPCVL Practice Life in the Camps Digital Public Library Densho Remembrance Project Below, you will find information pertaining to our research paper. I have added a list of possible topics for you to choose from. Please fill out the Form below as Ms. Magee and myself will be using this to sort out the topics. Only ONE PERSON PER TOPIC. If there is a topic not on the list, then please include that in the form. You DO need permission for your topic (I know some of you have already received this permission, but please still fill out the form) so before you get too far along, make sure you have had your topic approved by Ms. Magee or myself. You do not need to start this process; however, we do recommend that you start looking into this project. We can give you feedback and help guide you along the process remotely. Hello Everyone!
I will attach a series of readings related to WWII, therefore this week will serve as a review/enrichment of material previously learned. However, this will ALSO serve as an excellent time to get caught up on any missing assignments you might have. All missing work should be submitted either to TII or an email to me with the assignment title in the subject. This work is not REQUIRED, rather it is an opportunity to do some review and engage in enrichment readings to deepen our understanding of the content.
